    Executive Officer

 

Southern Quality Co-operative Ltd (SQP) is a grower owned organisation, with over 170 members primarily located in the Western Districts of Victoria.  SQP is seeking the services of an Executive Officer to identify and develop new opportunities to complement the well developed grain marketing program. Your main aim will be the provision of further quality services to our members.

 

The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:

  • Proven administrative and management skills

  • Demonstrated experience in Agribusiness communications

  • Strong empathy with agriculture and an understanding of southern agricultural systems

  • Ability to listen and learn and to develop innovative solutions

  • Prepared to offer leadership to the Co-operative Board

  • Strong financial skills with emphasis on the development and adherence to budgets, preparation of financial reports and the analysis of business performance

  • Strong people skills, with ability to liaise with staff, directors, members and other key stakeholders

  • Computer competence and well developed written skills

  • Current driver’s licence

This position offers a career opportunity with Victoria’s leading member based agricultural Co-operative.
