Research and Development Manager

Southern Farming Systems is a grower member organization operating in the higher rainfall zone of southern Victoria providing field research development and extension in the cropping and pasture industries. We operate trial sites from Bairnsdale to Dunkeld and provide services to over 500 farm members.

The role as the R&D Manager will require the following skills:

• Experience in conducting crop and preferably pasture field trials.

• Staff Management for the Southern Farming Systems field team of agronomists and technicians.

• Project Management and reporting, including statistical interpretation

• Project development and submission writing

• Experience in Australian mixed farming issues

• A strong industry network
